Sabalenka, Świątek, Gauff, Pegula, Jabeur Eye WTA Finals Crown In Canun

October 6, 2023: The Hologic WTA Finals lineup is set for Cancun, Mexico.
Defending champion Caroline Garcia did not make the cut, meaning there will be a first-time champion this year as none of the entered singles players have won the year-end title.
Total prize money $9 million.
The GNP Seguros WTA Finals Cancun (Oct. 29-Nov. 5 Tennis. Channel) features the Top 8 singles players and doubles teams in the Race to the WTA Finals.
They will compete in a round-robin format with the singles champion winning the WTA Finals Billie Jean King Trophy and the doubles champions earning the WTA Finals Martina Navratilova Trophy.
The singles field includes Hologic WTA World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, No. 2 Iga Swiatek, No. 3 Coco Gauff, No. 4 Elena Rybakina, No. 5 Jessica Pegula, No. 6 Marketa Vondrousova, No. 7 Karolina Muchova and No. 8 Ons Jabeur.
“The GNP Seguros WTA Finals Cancun promises to be another outstanding showpiece of women’s professional tennis and we are delighted to bring the event back to Mexico after such an exciting edition was held there in 2021,” Steve Simon, Hologic WTA chairman and CEO,” said via the organization’s.
“My congratulations to everyone who has qualified, and I along with the WTA’s global fanbase can’t wait to see how the action unfolds in Cancun.”
Tournament organizer is GS Sports Management.
The 2022 WTA Finals were held in Ft. Worth, TX,
