WNBA No. 1 Pick Boston Signs With adidas: ‘Best Woman And Athlete I Can Be’

May 9, 2023: The No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, Indiana Fever center Aliyah Boston, is reaping the rewards of becoming a pro, signing a multi-year footwear and apparel endorsement deal with adidas.
Boston will join such women’s hoops stars on the adidas roster as Candace Parker, Layshia Clarendon, Kahleah Copper, Sophie Cunningham, Chelsea Gray, Betnijah Laney, Angel McCoughtry, Nneka Ogwumike, Chiney Ogwumike and Erica Wheeler.
Financial terms were not shared.
"We are beyond excited to welcome Aliyah to our adidas Basketball family,” Eric Wis, adidas basketball global general manager, said via the brand. “She exudes strength, resilience, versatility and natural skill that is unmatched.”
“I know she'll leave a lasting impact on the future of the game, and we are proud to be a part of this moment and support her on her journey to greatness."
Boston been aligned with Under Armour via a NIL deal while at South Carolina, which has a sponsorship deal with UA.
She also had NIL deals including Buick, Bojangles, Dicks Sporting Goods and Bose.
