The deal brings to Disney key assets of major properties it did not own, including Marvel's X-Men and the first movie in the Star Wars franchise (Star Wars: A New Hope). Also included is FX Networks, National Geographic, 300-plus international channels, 22 regional sports networks and Fox’s 30% stake in Hulu.

Right Guard Reaching Teens With Under Armour Football Tour

October 15, 2009: Right Guard has signed a deal to be the presenting sponsor for the inaugural Under Armour All-America Selection Tour, which will visit ten high schools over the next two months to honor the prep football players  selected to participate in the 2010 Under Armour All-America Game. Financial details were not disclosed.

The third annual Under Armour All-America Game, which features 85 of the nation’s top high school football players as selected by ESPN and its Scouts Inc. division, will be played on Jan 2, 2010 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg , Fla., airing live on ESPN. Among the ten players being honored on the tour is Nick Montana, the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame and former NFL quarterback Joe Montana.

The Under Armour All-America Selection Tour presented by Right Guard is scheduled to begin Oct. 15 at Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio, and run through November. Each selection tour stop will include a press conference and an honorary jersey presentation by Right Guard. As presenting sponsor, Right Guard said it would benefit through "increased national exposure" and first-hand contact with a key consumer: male teenagers."

“Right Guard is excited to begin an association with high school football and these incredible student-athletes,” Tim Fuhrman, Right Guard director of marketing, said in a statement. “Our relationship with the Under Armour All-America Selection Tour will provide direct access to our brand’s core demographic and opportunity to reach avid sports fans.”
