November 13, 2013: The 2014 Special Olympics USA Games has added another founding partner, signing a deal that names 21st Century Fox the presenting media sponsor of the event.
Financial details were not disclosed.
21st Century Fox said it would provide "broad exposure" for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games across its U.S. channels, which include Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox Broadcasting, Fox Sports, FX, National Geographic Channel and 28 local stations, with WNYW and WWOR in New York and WTXF in Philadelphia.
In addition, FOX Sports 1 will provide news coverage and air a one-hour recap special, produced by fellow Games’ founding Partner WWE.
The Special Olympics USA Games will be hosted by New Jersey from June 14-21, 2014. Nearly 3,500 athletes will compete in 16 Olympic-style team and individual sports, with the support of 1,000 coaches, 10,000 volunteers and 70,000 family, friends and spectators.
Founding partners for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games also include Barnabas Health, Hess, KPMG, PSE&G, ShopRite and Toys “R” Us.

The 2014 USA Games will be staged throughout Mercer County, NJ including competitions at Princeton University, Rider University, The College of New Jersey and Mercer County Park, with the Opening Ceremony taking place at Prudential Center in Newark.
