Rogue Fitness Official Strength Partner For PBR 'Most Demanding 8 Seconds In Sports'

NYSJ Sports-Entertainment Business News Service

July 30, 2018: If you plan to conquer the most demanding eight seconds in sports, you better be in good shape.

With that in mind, Professional Bull Riders has signed a multi-year partnership naming Rogue Fitness the “official strength partner of the PBR.”

In a key part of the alliance, Rogue said it would provide mobile professional gym equipment for PBR riders on tour to use for conditioning, warmup/cool down and rehab.

Financial terms of the deal were not released.

“To compete successfully in the most demanding eight seconds in sports, bull riders have to be in top physical shape,” Sean Gleason, CEO for PBR, said in a statement.

“Highlighting that commitment, Rogue will become the sport’s ultimate ‘workout insiders,’ taking fans behind the scenes of our extreme athletes’ workout regiments.”

Gleason said that as “PBR celebrates America each weekend, we are thrilled to partner with a company dedicated to keeping its manufacturing operations within the U.S..”

Multi-platform marketing will support the deal, including branded-content story telling on RidePass, the PBR’s western sports digital network; and PBR stories on Rogue Fitness' social and digital channels.

Columbus, Ohio-based Rogue Fitness is also the official equipment supplier of the CrossFit Games, USA Weightlifting, the Arnold Strongman Classic and the World’s Strongest Man competition.

Rogue Fitness also has multi-faceted involvement with the Arnold Sports Expo in Columbus and USA Weightlifting.

PBR alliances also include Ariat, Jack Daniel’s, Bass Pro Shops, Ford, Stanley, Lucas Oil, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Monster Energy, Cooper Tires, Kawasaki and Wrangler.

According to Rogue owner Bill Henniger, “This is a great opportunity to join forces with a like-minded organization.

“The people of the PBR have a passion for hard work and self-determination, both of which are critical to the mission of Rogue. We’re both American-made companies with a growing international reach and plenty of crossover already within our ranks.”
