Ohtani, Judge, All-Star Game Captains, Also MLB Jersey Sales Leaders

July 11, 2025: Shohei Ohtani is the gift that keeps on selling.
The Los Angeles Dodgers DH/pitcher has sold the most jerseys from the beginning of the MLB season to All-Star Game break.
The top spot is familiar to Ohtani. His Dodgers jersey was the No. 1 best-selling jersey entering the 2025 MLB season,
Ohtani also finished 2024 with the most popular player jersey in MLB for the season.
Since 2023, Ohtani's jerseys have sold more than any other in the U.S., Japan and worldwide, according to Fanatics.
Sales of Nike jerseys are based on figures from the Fanatics network of sites, including MLBShop.com, since Opening Day.
Financial numbers were not shared.
Ohtani, who will captain the NL in the upcoming MLB All-Star Game, finished ahead of AL All-Star Game captain Aaron Judge of the New York Yankee, who moved up from No. 5 overall entering the 2025 season.
The Dodgers also had two other players in the Top 5 No. 3. Freddie Freeman and No. 4. Mookie Betts — as well pitcher Clayton Kershaw at No. 20.
MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, Jr. named Kershaw to the NL All-Star Team as a “Legend Pick” in recognition of his career.
Five players reached the Top 20 rankings for the first time in their respective careers: Rafael Devers, Jarren Duran, Jung Hoo Lee, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Tarik Skubal.
The New York Mets have three payers in the Top 20: No. 5. Francisco Lindor, No/ 6. Juan Soto and No. 16 Pete Alonso.
