NFL International Series Tickets Ten Teams For Travel To U.K., Germany, Mexico

May 4, 2022: Having previously unveiled plans for five International Series games during the upcoming season, the NFL today revealed more details, including opponents and dates, for the 2022 edition.
Three games are scheduled for the U.K., one in Munich, Germany and one in Mexico City.
Last year, as part of the NFL’s regular season expansion 17 games, the league decided that, beginning with the 2022 season, “up to four of the teams from the conference whose teams were eligible for a ninth regular-season home game would instead be designated to play a neutral-site international game each year.”
As previously released, Munich and Frankfurt were chosen to stage regular-season games in Germany over the next four years.
This year's International Series begins with games on back-to-back weekends in London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings — each playing in the U.K. for the third time — will make their debut in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 2 on NFL Network (9:30 AM ET).
On Sunday, Oct. 9, the Green Bay Packers in their inaugural regular-season International game will play the New York Giants on NFL Network (9:30 AM ET).
On Sunday, Oct. 30, the
Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Denver Broncos in Wembley Stadium on ESPN+ (9:30 AM ET).
In the first NFL regular-season game in Germany, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady will face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 13 in Allianz Arena (home of FC Bayern Munich) on NFL Network (9:30 AM ET).
The NFL returns to Mexico City on Nov. 21 with Monday Night Football in Estadio Azteca when the San Francisco 49ers face the Arizona Cardinals on ESPN (8:15 PM ET).
In 2005, those teams played in Estadio Azteca with 103,467 fans in attendance, among the Top Ten largest crowds in NFL history.
Tickets for the NFL games in Munich and London will be available in June and tickets for the game in Mexico City will be available in August.
The full 2022 NFL Schedule powered by AWS will be released on NFL Network, NFL.com and the NFL app on May 12.
Green Bay has played in three international preseason games, most recently in 2019 in Canada against the now Las Vegas Raiders.
Upon becoming the 32nd NFL team to play in London since 2007, the Packers posted to their Web site and social media a photo with Green Bay players recreating The Beatles Abbey Road album cover.
"The Green Bay Packers are excited to make our international debut during the 2022 season," Packers president/CEO Mark Murphy said at the time via the team.
“We are very excited to be staging five games outside the United States in 2022, and thank the clubs for their continued commitment to growing the sport internationally," Peter O'Reilly, NFL evp-club business and league events, said via the NFL.
"Our fans in Germany, Mexico and the U.K. can look forward to seeing some of the most iconic names and biggest stars in the league and enjoying an incredible series of events."
