NFL, GMC, ESPN Campaign Ask Fans To Determine Highlight Moments Of The Year

A 2011 Sierra Denali is the ultimate prize in the NFL, GMC, ESPN 'Never Say Never' campaign.September 9, 2010: GMC is hitting the 2010 NFL season with its pedal to the metal, unveiling a campaign with the NFL and ESPN, the "GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week," enticing fans and consumers with tickets to Super Bowl XLV and a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali.

GMC, the NFL and ESPN said they are looking for the best moment or play of each week "that represents determination and perseverance." The season-long effort also offers people the opportunity  to win a weekly prize of a trip for two to Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium this coming February, In addition, one grand prize winner will receive a new 2011 GMC Sierra Denali. GMC is the official vehicle of the NFL .

Beginning after the two Monday Night Football games on ESPN Sept. 13, three moments will be shown on NFL Network's Total Access and ESPN's SportsCenter. Viewers can then watch the three nominated "Never Say Never Moments of the Week" on the NFL Network's Around the League that airs each Wednesday and Friday and on ESPN's SportsCenter every Tuesday.

The winning moment will be revealed each Friday during the NFL Network's Around the League show. (Full details here.)

People will also have the opportunity to see all the moments by visiting GMC's Facebook Fan page. The GMC/NFL site will be hosted by the NFL Network's Deion Sanders and ESPN's Monday Night Football play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico. On the site, they banter about the campaign, offering such comments as, "You at the Super Bowl? Never say never."

"GMC trucks and SUV's are characterized by engineering excellence that results from a never say never attitude, the same type of excellence exemplified each week by NFL players," Craig Bierley, director, Buick GMC advertising and sales promotion, said in a statement. "We are proud that GMC is the official vehicle of the NFL and are looking forward to giving fans the chance to determine the best moment of the week that demonstrates professional grade willpower and strength."
