‘Up-Close-And-Personal’: How People Can Experience NFL Scouting Combine

Photo: NFLFebruary 21, 2025: The NFL has cleaned up the confetti from Super Bowl LIX and is now going all-out for the event that kicks off the 2025 season.
The NFL Scouting Combine presented by Microsoft Copilot will bring fan engagement to Indianapolis with the return two events: the Combine Experience and Combine “Inside Look.”
From Feb. 27-Mar. 2, the fan festival Combine Experience is back at Lucas Oil Stadium’s South Gate, while “Inside Look” provides exclusive in-stadium access, “allowing people to get up-close-and-personal with the league's future stars.”
While admission to the Combine Experience is free, people must register via NFL OnePass, either online or through the NFL OnePass app. Registration is required for all adults and can include up to five children per adult.
“The NFL Scouting Combine serves as a critical milestone in the journey from college prospect to NFL player,” Peter O’Reilly, NFL evp-club business, international, and league events, said via the league.
“With Combine Experience and ‘Inside Look,’ we’re enhancing the fan experience, offering special access to witness the future of the game firsthand. We’re giving fans an unforgettable opportunity to engage with the next generation of NFL stars, and we’re excited to share that energy with Indianapolis and fans across the country.”
The NFL invited a total of 329 prospects to attend this year's event. The full list of invitees (subject to change) can be found here.
The 2025 Combine has been held in Indianapolis since 1987. It is produced by National Football Scouting, Visit Indy, the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium, the City of Indianapolis, IU Health and the Indiana Sports Corp., along with the Indianapolis Colts.
As interest in NFL off-season events continues to grow, NFL cities are ramping up efforts to host such jewel destinations as the NFL Draft, Scouting Combine and Pro Bowl.
This past November, the NFL, Colts and Visit Indy tourism group signed to keep the pre-draft event in Lucas Oil Stadium through 2026.
The current agreement was scheduled to end with the 2025 Scouting Combine.
"Our partners in Indy have successfully hosted the football evaluation process for decades,” said O'Reilly,.
“And recently, we've collectively worked to grow and evolve the in-person fan experience, bringing tens of thousands of fans closer to the league's future stars.”
Combine Experience includes a range of interactive activities, including taking photos with the Colts’ Super Bowl XLI Vince Lombardi Trophy and all 59 Super Bowl rings; and testing their athletic skills by participating in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and bench press photo ops.
Exclusive NFL merchandise will be available for purchase from the NFL Shop.
Visitors will also have the chance to win tickets to Super Bowl LX in Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2026), and the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay (April 24-26, 2025).
“Inside Look” takes fans inside Lucas Oil Stadium for an up-close look at the future of the NFL.
The NFL said the event will feature "real-time analysis of drills by on-camera hosts, energized crowd music, in-stadium Next-Gen Stats, exclusive interviews and expanded video board content, including mic’d-up segments with coaches and prospects, in-venue hosts, fan contests, a DJ, and storytelling about top prospects, and insights from NFL legends."
Starting Feb. 26, NFL Network will air more than 50 hours of NFL Scouting Combine live coverage.
