Play Dates: NFL Reveals Pre-Schedule ’25 Schedule Release Via Media Partners

May 8, 2025: The NFL 2025 schedule release is scheduled for next week.
But people won’t have to wait until then to uncover portions of the upcoming season.
The 2025 NFL Schedule powered by AWS will be released May 14 on NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL+ (8 PM ET).
Ahead of the release of the full 2025 schedule, the league’s broadcast partners will unveil select games:
• May 12: NBC Today Show
• May 12: Fox
• May 12: Prime Video
• May 13: ESPN on ABC Good Morning America
• May 14: CBS on CBS Mornings
• May 14: Netflix
The season opener will be Sept. 4 hosted by the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
There will be the traditional tripleheader on Thanksgiving with the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys and a third team TBD.
The NFL will have a Christmas Day tripleheader in 2025. Two games will air on Netflix followed by a Thursday Night Football game on Amazon Prime.
The NFL will share its full International Games schedule on May 13 during Good Morning Football on NFL Network.
As previously released, this year’s games include:
• Sept. 5 São Paulo, Brazil int Corinthians Arena with the Los Angeles Chargers as home team
• Two regular season games in London in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium featuring the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns as designated hone teams
• Berlin, Germany in Olympic Stadium Berlin, with the Indianapolis Colts as home team
• Madrid, Spain in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium with the Miami Dolphins as home team
• The first regular season game in Dublin, Ireland in Croke Park with the Pittsburgh Steelers as home team
• The Jacksonville Jaguars will also return to Wembley Stadium in London to operate a home game as part of their multi-year commitment to playing a game in the U.K.
NFL Network’s coverage features Schedule Release ’25 Presented by Verizon (8 PM ET), a three-hour show hosted by Rich Eisen, Maurice Jones-Drew and Michael Robinson which breaks down the 2025 NFL regular season schedule, analyzing the top matchups and primetime games.
Additional coverage will be provided by NFL GameDay View: Schedule Release on The NFL Channel.
ESPN will have a two-hour primetime special highlighting the release of the 2025 regular season schedule May 13 on ESPN2.
NFL.com and the NFL app will provide complete team-by-team and weekly schedules of all regular season games, listing opponents, sites and times.
NFL+ will offer people exclusive content with Secrets of the Schedule, which features the NFL’s schedule makers sharing behind-the-scenes details of how the 2025 schedule was made and discussing which matchups were the most in-demand this season.
