Worldwide Web: NFL International Sked Sites Nine Games, Seven Cities, 16 Teams

May 13, 2026: The most extensive International schedule in NFL history has been unveiled, with nine games — including the first regular-season games in Australia, Rio de Janeiro and Paris — encompassing nine teams.
As previously shared, the first International game of the 2026 season is also the first regular game of the season, with the San Francisco 49ers playing the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 10 in Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Niners and Jacksonville Jaguars both get their passports stamped twice this season, with Jacksonville playing back-to-back games in London — Oct. 11 vs, the Philadelphia Eagles in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Oct., 18 vs, the Houston Texans in Wembley Stadium — while San Francisco closes out the international scheduled playing the Minnesota Vikings in Mexico City’s Estadio Banorte on Nov. 22.
Overall, there will be three games in London and one each in Madrid, Melbourne, Mexico City, Munich, Paris and Rio.
Five of the games will be on NFL Network, one each on Netflix, CBS, NBC and Fox.
“This year’s record-breaking schedule will see a host of world-class NFL franchises and star athletes play in some of the most iconic sporting venues in the world,” Peter O’Reilly, NFL evp-club business, major events and international, said via the league, “underlying the league’s global growth vision and bringing our fans internationally closer to the game than ever before.”
Sixty-two regular-season NFL games have been played outside the United States with London, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dublin, São Paulo, Mexico City and Toronto having hosted games to date.
London will host three consecutive games in the 2026 NFL season, which will take the total number of regular season games played in the U.K. since 2007 to 45. Two games will be played in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one in Wembley Stadium.
The final European game of the season will be staged in Munich, Germany in FC Bayern Munich Arena, where the New England Patriots take on the Detroit Lions. The game, to be played Nov. 15, will mark the sixth regular-season game to be held in Germany, and the third to be played in Munich.
The international slate concludes in Mexico City Nov. 22. The game will see the NFL return to Mexico for the first time since 2022 and will be the sixth regular-season game hosted in the country since 2005.
In addition to the “home” and “visiting” teams, other NFL teams will have a presence during the International games as part of the league's Global Markets Program.
The initiative awards NFL clubs marketing rights in markets outside of the U.S. to build brand awareness and fandom through fan engagement, events and commercial opportunities.
All 32 NFL teams participate in the program with rights across 22 markets.
The NFL is also focused on year-round efforts to develop NFL Flag.
