By Barry Janoff

June 1, 2017: With just about a month to go until its 2017 Nascar coverage hits the network, NBC Sports Group said it would unveil multi-platform support to include programming across its networks, profiles and behind-the-scenes stories on top drivers and teams, a comprehensive marketing campaign and other activation.

The spot shows Earnhardt Jr. talking about his life and career, with specific focus on the upcoming Daytona race, which would mark the final competition there in his storied career.

"I’d love to win Daytona in this last season,” he says. “Add another win to the Earnhardt column." (See the full spot here.)

Additional spots highlighting drivers and races will break as the NBC Sports Group’s coverage for 2017 draws closer, and then throughout its coverage during the season.

As part of its countdown to Daytona, Nascar America m NBCSN’s daily motors ports show, beginning next week will feature daily segments and highlights celebrating the most iconic moments from the track, according to NBC.

NBC Sports analyst and former driver Jeff Burton, three-time Daytona 500 Champion and Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett and Nascar on NBC analyst Parker Kligerman will contribute throughout the week.

Nascar America concludes its cross-country series, "My Home Track: 50 States in 50 Shows," this month.
