Semiquincentennial Celebration: MLB Unveils Sked For ’26 All-Star Game Week

April 21, 2026: Calling it “more than a marquee sporting event, it’s a celebration of tradition, unity, and shared experience,” MLB and the Philadelphia Phillies today unveiled the 2026 All-Star Week schedule of events taking place in and around the city July 10–14.
The 96th All-Star Game presented by MasterCard will be played in Citizens Bank Park July 14 (Fox), with the T-Mobile Home Run Derby July 13 (Netflix).
MLB’s 2026 All-Star Week will help celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial of American independence. Some activation will also be in conjunction with America250, the nonpartisan, congressionally created group.
“As the nation marks its 250th anniversary, MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia carries added significance, bringing one of America’s most iconic pastimes to the city where the country’s story began,” Jeremiah Yolkut, MLB svp-global operations and events, said via the league.
“With baseball deeply woven into the fabric of American culture, this moment becomes more than a marquee sporting event, it’s a celebration of tradition, unity, and shared experience. Set within a year when Philadelphia will host the world, All-Star Week captures a uniquely American perspective on that global spotlight, rooted in heritage, community, and the enduring spirit of the game.”
Citizens Bank Park will host the HBCU Swingman Classic presented by USA Baseball July 10; the All-Star Futures Game and MLBx All-Star 3-on-3 July 12; the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Gatorade All-Star Workout Day July 13; and the All-Star Game presented by MasterCard July 14.
The All-Star Futures Game highlights baseball’s top prospects playing in a seven-inning exhibition with some of Minor League baseball’s best promotions, mascots and entertainment filling the atmosphere.
Following the All-Star Futures Game will be a new event at MLB All-Star Week — MLBx: All-Star 3-on-3. The co-ed competition unites male and female athletes alongside MLB legends and special guests, with lineups to be revealed at a later date.
MLB’s fan festival, Capital One All-Star Village, will run four days, July 11-14. All-Star Village, which includes the youth participation-focused Capital One PLAY BALL PARK, will take place inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center, located adjacent to Capital One All-Star Village, Capital One All-Star Village will feature interactive games and contests, video gaming experiences, prizes, player meet and greets and a taste of local ballpark favorites,” according to MLB.
For the sixth consecutive year, the MLB Draft will also take place during All-Star Week.
Opening rounds of the Draft are scheduled for July 11 from the Pennsylvania Convention Center Grand Hall. attending the Draft is Free and open to the public. Further information including attendees and ticketing for the Draft will be shared at a later date.
The All-Star Red Carpet Show will again take place prior to the All-Star Game July 14 (MLB Network). The location of this year’s Red Carpet Show will be announced at a later date.
Two MLB youth tournaments — the All-Star Commissioner’s Cup and Jennie Finch Classic presented by Arm & Hammer — will be played at the Philadelphia Phillies Urban Youth Academy in FDR Park July 10–12, with the championship gamesJuly 13 at the University of Pennsylvania.
The All-Star Commissioner’s Cup features teams of youth baseball players (ages 17 and under) from MLB Youth Academies from around the country and in Puerto Rico.
The All-Star Jennie Finch Classic, named after the iconic Olympic Gold Medal Winning softball player and MLB Youth Softball Ambassador, features teams of youth softball players (ages 17 and under) from MLB Youth Academies and Jennie Finch softball programming.
As part of an alliance with America250, an exclusive USA 250 patch and logo will be featured on MLB athlete uniforms and performance gear (via Fanatics) and/or in venues during all MLB and Minor League Baseball games on July 4, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby and MLB All-Star Game presented by MasterCard in Philadelphia,
The alliance, unveiled this past January, also includes MLS, Nascar, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC and WWE.

“This collaboration is an important addition to MLB’s commemoration of America’s 250th birthday this season, which includes the dedication of 250,000 volunteer hours across baseball. This exciting initiative has the opportunity to use the collective popularity of these properties to do what sports does best – bring people together.”
