MLB Details 2024 World Series, Playoff Schedule; TV, Presenting Partners

Aug. 1. 2024: With the season hitting its final two months, MLB has unveiled the schedule and presenting partners for the 2024 post-season, which is set to begin Oct. 1 with each of the four Wild Card Series on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2.
Game 1 of the 2024 World Series presented by Capital One — with all games exclusively on Fox — is scheduled for Oct. 25 at the home of the League Champion with the better 2024 regular season record.
The opening game of the World Series could move to Oct. 22 if both the American League Championship Series presented by loanDepot and the National League Championship Series presented by loanDepot conclude no later then Oct. 19.
The openers of all four AL and NL Division Series presented by Booking.com are scheduled to begin Oct. 5.
The Division Series is scheduled to run Oct. 5 -12, with potential Game 5 Oct. 11 (NLDS) and Oct.12 (ALDS).
Fox or FS1 will combine to cover the NLDS, while TNT Sports will simulcast the ALDS on TBS, truTV and Max.
The NLCS will begin Oct. 13 and will air on Fox or FS1.
The ALCS is scheduled to begin Oct. 14, and air across TBS, truTV and Max. A potential Game 7 of the NLCS is scheduled for Oct. 21, while an ALCS Game 7 would be played Oct. 22.
If a Game 7 is necessary to determine the 2024 World Series Champions, it would be played Nov. 2, unless the Fall Classic shifts to the earlier starting date, which would then feature a potential Game 7 on Oct. 30.
Scheduled off-days during the World Series are Oct. 27 and Oct. 31 (based on the original schedule and a necessary Game 6).
Fox Sports will present live coverage of the World Series for the 27th time.
All games telecast on TNT Sports platforms, Fox and FS1 will be available to MLB.TV subscribers who are authenticated subscribers to the applicable network through a participating pay TV provider.
The Wild Card Series will also be available via the ESPN App. ESPN Radio will provide live national coverage of all 2024 MLB post-season games, beginning with the Wild Card Series.
MLB Network will have extensive studio coverage throughout the post-season.
