MLB Signs Exclusive Deal With Ford Across League, MiLB, Little League, Softball

By Barry Janoff

March 23, 2026: MLB today unveiled a major change in its drive to the 2026 season, signing a multiyear exclusive partnership with the Ford Motor Co.

Ford replaces Chevrolet, which had been MLB’s official automotive partner for two decades.

MLB said the five-year alliance “unites America’s most iconic company with America’s pastime, placing Ford at the center of MLB’s biggest moments.” That includes Opening Day presented by Adobe, All‑Star Week, July 4th initiative, MLB at Field of Dreams and the World Series presented by Capital One.

Financial terms were not released.

“Ford and MLB are both American heritage brands that continue to innovate in their industries and strengthen their popularity and relevance decade after decade,” Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB CMO and svp-global corporate partnerships, said via the league.

“We love the creative marketing energy that Ford plans to bring to MLB, while the national scale of our content is sure to drive even greater consideration and fan engagement for our new partner. And the timing of this new relationship is perfect as we all plan to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America.”

MLB staged a partnership doubleheader today, also naming Zillow as its official real estate and home rentals marketplace partner (See full story here.)

The Ford partnership will also see rights across Minor League Baseball, Little League Baseball, and Softball “that will activate through local Ford dealerships reaching communities across the country, including youth clinics, and equipment donations.”

Ford said it plans to activate at every level, “honoring tradition, celebrating human capability, and powering the moments that matter most.”

“For generations, baseball has brought families and communities together and so has Ford,” Lisa Materazzo, Ford’s global CMO, said via the company.

“This partnership is about honoring tradition while putting real capability behind the moments that matter for fans, players, and for the communities that keep the game, and the country, moving forward.”

Ford and MLB are also inviting people to enter the Drive Them Home Sweepstakes. Entrants can win tickets to the All-Star Game presented by MasterCard, along with a chance to win a 2026 F150 Lariat, a 2026 Expedition® Platinum® SUV, or a 2026 Bronco® Badlands SUV.

Ford said it has active partnerships with ten MLB clubs: Athletics, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals.
