April 18, 2019: Aaron Judge, Patrick Mahomes and Ryan Sheckler are among the high-profile athletes who star in a new global campaign, from Oakley, “See It In Prizm.”

The multi-platform effort supports Oakley Prizm, described as glasses that use a “revolutionary lens technology, grounded in decades of research and innovation, that fine-tunes individual colors to enhance details for an optimized viewing experience.”

See It In Prizm” will activate via digital, social media, athlete highlight videos, immersive retail experiences and regional activations.

It also stars world-ranked surfer Sage Erickson, triathlete and Olympic gold medalist Jan Frodeno, MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi, AMA Supercross and Motocross champion Eli Tomac, teen mountain biker Jackson Goldstone and pro surf champion Julian Wilson.

In addition, the campaign shows how others use Prizm to their benefit, including stuntman Mike Escamilia and members of a Los Angeles street-dance team.

“‘See It In Prizm,’ the evolution of our ‘One Obsession’ platform, is an incredibly powerful message,” Ben Goss, global marketing director for Oakley, said via the brand.

“The passion of athletes — from professionals to the everyday amateurs — is what fuels our brand and product design.”

Goss said the campaign is “built to harness that passion and celebrate how Oakley is a part of inspiring and enabling people who relentlessly pursue their obsessions.”

An extended spot, running two and a half minutes, shows the featured athletes and others wearing Prizm glasses to improve their vision in active situations: Judge on the field with the New York Yankees, Mahomes training with the Kansas City Chiefs, Sheckler while attempting extreme moves on his skateboard.

The campaign encourages consumers and pro and amateur athletes to connect via social media to share their Oakley Prizm stories and experiences, with the hash tags #OneObsession and #OakleyPrizm.

According to Mahomes, “I’m proud to be a part of the Oakley campaign, alongside athletes that I’ve watched and admired for years.

“Being able to share what sport and performance means to me is important and this gives me a platform to do so. Hopefully my story can inspire others to pursue their obsessions and achieve more than they thought possible.”
