Intuit Becomes LA28 Founding Partner, Secures Naming Rights To Hoops Venue

November 21, 2025: In August, the organizing committee for LA28 said it would set Olympic history by selling naming rights to the venues for the 2028 Summer Games.
Today, the group has unveiled a multi-year deal with Intuit to become a Founding Partner in the financial management software category and also retain rights to the Intuit Dome for the upcoming Games.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Intuit Dome, the 18,000-seat venue that opened in August 2024 as home to the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, is scheduled to host five-on-five men's and women's basketball competitions during the LA28 Olympic Games.
Former Microsoft CEO and businessman Steve Ballmer is majority owner of the team and the venue.
“As we prepare to welcome the world to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we’re proud to partner with Intuit — a company with deep roots in this city and a long-standing commitment to Angelenos,” Casey Wasserman, LA28 chairperson and president, said via the organization.
“Intuit’s investment in small business growth reflects the values we share: innovation, accessibility, and community. Together, we’re working to create opportunities that will leave a meaningful legacy for Los Angeles well beyond the Games.”
Under LA28’s plan, companies that currently have naming rights deals with Olympic venues have the first- and only-option to retain them during the Games.
The opportunity for naming rights during the Olympics are being offered to IOC Top Tier Partners and LA28 partners.
Some 19 venues are available for temporary Games naming rights. Among those not included are the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, Rose Bowl and Dodger Stadium.
Honda previously opted to keep its name on Honda Center in Anaheim — home to the NHL’s Ducks — which will host Olympic volleyball competition.
Comcast has acquired naming rights to the temporary Comcast Squash Center being built at Universal Studios.
SoFi financial firm, which has naming rights to the stadium that is home to the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, — has not as yet decided on Olympic naming rights,
As such, the venue — which will co-host Opening and Closing Ceremonies and swimming in what is being called the largest pool in Olympic history — is being referred to as “2028 Stadium” by Games organizers.

LA28 organizers believe they can sell upward of $2.5 billion in naming rights deals for the Games, with a goal of $1 billion this year.
“We feel really good about where we’re at, and we have optimism going forward,” John Slusher, CEO for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Properties — the commercial joint venture between the LA28 Organizing Committee and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee — told AP Sports.
"These groundbreaking partnerships . . . along with additional partners to come, will not only generate critical revenue for LA28 but will introduce a new commercial model to benefit the entire Movement,” said Wasserman “We’re grateful to the IOC for making this transformation possible.”
LA28 Founding partners include Comcast, Delta and Honda.
Official partners include AECON, Cisco, Fanatics Lilly, Nike. Polo and Uber.
Supporting partners include Dick’s Hershey, Oakley and Pennymac.
