FIFA Adds Bank of America As Global Partner For Men’s World Cup ’26

August 15, 2024: Distinguishing it as the first global sponsor in the banking category, FIFA has signed Bank of America as its “official bank sponsor of FIFA Men’s World Cup 26.”
Through this new partnership, FIFA and Bank of America said they would “work together to support the growth of the global game and the tournament's impact on football fans of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.”
Financial terms of the multi-year alliance were not disclosed.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Bank of America as a global sponsor of this groundbreaking FIFA World Cup,” FIFA president Gianni Infantino said via the organization.
“Bank of America's commitment to community engagement both domestically and globally aligns with our goals for the tournament and beyond, while their support of FIFA on an international basis is a major milestone for our organization as we continue to serve our game for the benefit of the entire world."
FIFA’s 2026 Men’s World Cup will be hosted by the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
FIFA and Charlotte, NC-headquartered Bank of America said they would “engage communities, promoting human connection through football.
“Bank of America will leverage this opportunity to connect with communities. Bank of America's approach to responsible growth through community outreach, youth programming and financial education initiatives aligns with FIFA's commitment to develop football while positively impacting people across the globe.”
FIFA global World Cup ’26 partners also include adidas, Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser), Aramco, Coca-Cola, Hyundai-Kia, McDonald’s, Mengniu, Qatar Airways and Visa.
Official U.S. Soccer partners and sponsors include presenting partner Volkswagen, Allstate, Anheuser-Busch (Michelob Ultra), AT&T, Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Jim Beam, Marriott Bonvoy, New York Life, Nike, TicketMaster, Truly and Visa.
Among its sports sponsorships is the NFL Charlotte Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Bank of America said the FIFA partnership “complements the company's global and local market strategies, engaging a worldwide audience as it unites to experience unforgettable moments that connect people in ways that only live sport can.”
