Celtics Top Team Merch, Curry Leads NBA Jersey Sales At All-Star Break

Photo: WarriorsJanuary 24, 2025: The Boston Celtics continue to reap the rewards of winning the NBA 2023-24 championship.
For the first time in 17 years, the Celtics are No. 1 in team merchandise sales, compiled by the NBA and National Basketball Players Assn. through the first half of the 2024-25 season.
Concurrently, Boston’s Jayson Tatum is No. 3 in jersey sales through the first half of the season.
Figures are based on NBAStore.com sales for the first half of the 2024-25 regular season.
Sales figures were not released.
Nine players on the Top-Selling Jersey list have been named starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, Feb. 16 in Chase Center, San Francisco.
At age 21 and in just his second year in the NBA, Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs jersey is No. 5 on the list.
LeBron James, age 40, who has extended his own record of appearances in the All-Star Game to 21, has his Los Angeles Lakers jersey No. 2 on the list.
The Top Five jerseys also include Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), up to No. 4 from No. 15 at the end of the 2023-24 regular season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards (No. 6), Oklahoma City Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (No. 11) and the Cleveland Cavaliers Donovan Mitchell (No. 15) each make their debut on the Top-Selling Jersey list, according to the NBA.
The Top Five teams in merchandise sales also include the Lakers, Knicks, Warriors and Chicago Bulls.
