Danica Patrick's Boost Mobile Endorsement Puts Her Over $10M

May 4, 2009: Danica Patrick has added Boost Mobile, the prepaid division of Sprint Nextel to her roster of marketing partners, pushing Patrick past the $10 million mark in annual endorsements. Boost will work with Motorola, which since 2007 has served as title sponsor of Patrick’s IndyCar, and joins Patrick sponsors that also include GoDaddy, Tissot, Samsonite, Kaenon, Peak, MarquisJet and AirTran. The deal, according to analysts, puts her in rare company with Maria Sharapova, Michelle Wie and Venus and Serena Williams, who are among the few female athletes who top $10 million in annual endorsements (not including prize money). By contrast, Tiger Woods earns about $100 million a year. To support the deal with Patrick, Boost Mobile and Motorola have unveiled a "Pop Your Clutch" sweepstakes at www.Popyourclutch.com. Visitors can register for a chance to win a grand prize trip package to the August 23, 2009 Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma in Sonoma, Calif. and one of 10 Motorola Clutch i465 handsets, plus $150 of Boost Mobile service that will be given away after each of the 14 IndyCar Series events, starting with the Indianapolis 500. As part of the Pop Your Clutch sweepstakes, if Patrick wins the Indianapolis 500 on May 24, Boost and Motorola will give away 500 Motorola Clutch i465 handsets with $300 of Boost Mobile service to each of the winners. For the remainder of the 2009 IndyCar Series season, Patrick's car will sport a jet-black Boost Mobile/Motorola/Andretti Green IndyCar with electric orange accents. Back to Home Page
