Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders, Falcons, Jets Top List Of In-Demand NFL Tickets

August 23, 2024: The Kansas City Chiefs enter the 2024 NFL season seeking a Super Bowl championship three-peat. The Chicago Bears have highly touted No. 1 overall draft pick Caleb Williams at quarterback.
But they are not among the league’s most-in demand teams when it comes to ticket sales.
That distinction goes to the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers — the Bears come in at No. 8 — according to the 2024 NFL Season Preview from online ticket marketplace StubHub.
The Cowboys take the No. 1 spot for the fourth time since 2017, StubHub's first NFL ticket sales preview, outselling the No. 2 Raiders by 13%.
The Cowboys visiting the Steelers on Oct. 6 is the most in-demand game (as of Aug. 19), and the Cowboys play in five of StubHub’s Top Ten most in-demand games.
The Steelers also play in the second and third most in-demand games, visiting the Raiders (Oct. 13) and Atlanta Falcons (Sept. 8). The Raiders also play in the No. 4 most in-demand game when they host the Chiefs (Oct. 27).

Overall, the Steelers have seen a 49% increase in sales compared to last year's season start, according to StubHub.
The Raiders have been a Top Ten team for StubHub every year since relocating to Vegas in 2020.
This season, 89% of all Raiders’ tickets sold come from out-of-state buyers — more than any other team.
"Las Vegas has transformed into a major sports destination, after acquiring teams of its own and hosting major sporting events like the Super Bowl,” Adam Budelli, spokesperson for StubHub, said via the company.
“We're seeing a high number of visitors purchasing tickets to Raiders' games, with 89% of tickets sold to out-of-state buyers."
However, the Falcons have seen the biggest jump in sales, up nearly six-times over 2023 on StubHub.
“We can see how roster moves and fan optimism have contributed to a boost in sales this season,” said Budelli.
“The Atlanta Falcons’ sales spiked almost six-times compared to 2023 after adding two new quarterbacks (Kirk Cousins, rookie Michael Penix Jr.).
"Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers’ sales jumped three-times after a promising 2023 season."
The NFL's international interest “continues to soar,” according to StubHub.
Buyers from 72 countries outside of the U.S. have purchased 41% more tickets than at the start of the 2023 season, accounting for 8% of all NFL tickets this season on StubHub, up from 4% last year.
The New York Jets have the highest percentage of tickets sold to international buyers, with 6% of tickets sold for their home games coming from outside of the U.S. and Canada, according to the 2024 NFL Season Preview.
The Miami Dolphins have the widest international following, with ticket buyers from 29 countries.
The top countries in which buyers drive the most demand and growth, year over year, are Canada (46% more tickets sold compared to the 2023 season start), the U.K. (+38%), Germany (+28%), Mexico (+49%) and Australia (+49%).
The NFL's five international games have sold 35% more tickets than last year's five games.
"The NFL is an increasingly international brand, which is also the case for many of the top teams,” said Budelli. “We see this trend in the increase in international attendees across the season but also in an increase in sales for the international games themselves."
"The international games also continue to be a hot destination event for U.S. fans as the number of U.S. buyers traveling abroad to see these teams has increased." 
The top in-demand international NFL games are led by the New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (Nov. 10, Allianz Arena, Munich) and Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Sept. 6, Corinthians Arena, São Paulo).

The game in Germany is outselling the No. 2 game — the first in history NFL in Brazil — by 30%. Buyers from the U.S. account for 42% of tickets sold for the Munich game.
It also has sold 30% more tickets than last year’s top international game in Germany, the NFL Frankfurt game between the Dolphins and Chiefs.
