At Super Bowl LIX, Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady Tackle ‘Hate’ In Multi-Media Campaign

By Barry Janoff

February 3, 2025: Snoop Dogg is hosting NFL Honors and Tom Brady is part of the Fox Sports broadcast team, but both men might be making a bigger impact during Super Bowl LIX with their key roles in a Super Bowl “No Reason to Hate” cause-marketing effort from the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

The campaign emphasizes that “when we break down the reasons behind hate, they are not only disturbing, but they are also, often, frankly stupid.”

"The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism is doing incredible work, and I'm honored to stand with them in the fight against hate," Brady said via the organization.

“This Super Bowl, football is on my mind, but so is something even bigger — building a world where hate has no place. The ‘No Reason to Hate’ campaign isn't just a message; it's a movement. I'm proud to be a part of it, and I hope you'll join us."

The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism was founded in 2019 by Robert Kraft, owner of Brady’s former team, the New England Patriots, to “stand up to Jewish hate and all hate.”

“No Reason To Hate” follows the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism debut Big Game during Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 — “Silence,” featuring renowned civil rights leader Dr. Clarence B. Jones — and comes on the heels of its multi-media “Timeout Against Hate: What’s Up With Hate” campaign.

Led by Brady and Snoop Dogg, “No Reason To Hate” is ”encouraging people from all walks of life to look at why we hate, whether it's hating someone for the way they pray, act, look, or simply because they are different. The message for viewers: Let's unite against hate in all its forms.”

"I'm honored to team up with the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism ahead of the Super Bowl for the ‘No Reason to Hate’ campaign,” Snoop Dogg said via the organization.

“It doesn't matter what your background is, what you look like or where you come from, hate is never the answer. It's time we all start seeing it for what it is and together, take a stand against hate."

In the Super Bowl LIX spot, Brady and Snoop Dogg face each other and take on the personas of people who hate others for various reasons.

“I hate you because we’re from different neighborhoods,” says Snoop Dogg.

“I hate you because you look different,” says Brady.

“I hate you because I don’t understand you,” say Snoop Dogg.

“I hate you because people I know hate you,’” says Brady.

“I hate you because you hate me . . . Because I need someone to blame . . . Because you talk different . . . Because you act different . . . Because you’re just different.’

Text then reads, The reasons for hate are as stupid as they sound,”

"Man, I hate that things are so bad, we have to do a commercial about it,” says Snoop Dogg. “Me, too,” says Brady.

“Through the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism's Stand Up to Jewish Hate and All Hate Blue Square campaign, we've made great strides in encouraging people from all walks of life to believe in the power of unity to combat hate," said Kraft via the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

"This year, we're proud to bring together my friends, Tom Brady and Snoop Dogg, in our ‘No Reason to Hate’ Super Bowl campaign. Their shared commitment to this cause speaks to the strength of and amplifies the Foundation's continued message: no matter where we come from, there is no place for hate in our world.

“Together, with their leadership, we're reminding everyone that the fight against hate is a fight we can all win."

The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism’s “TImeout Against Hate: What’s Up With Hate” features an unprecedented unification of sports power, led by MLB, MLS, NBA, WNBA, NFL, NHL, NWSL and Nascar and current and former athletes and coaches including Billie Jean King, Shaquille O’Neal, Candace Parker, Andy Reid and Doc Rivers.

Launched in October, the anchor spot continues to air on broadcast and cable as well as social media.
