Bad Bunny Bags Big Gig: Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show

Sept. 28, 2025: Taylor Swift’s name was mentioned but it is Bad Bunny who signs the deal and plays the show.
The NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation said three-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist Bad Bunny is scheduled to perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on Sunday, February 8, 2026, airing on NBC.
“What I'm feeling goes beyond myself. It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown,” Puerto Rico-native Bad Bunny — Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio — said via the NFL and Roc Nation.
“This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el (Go and tell your grandmother, that we will be at the) Halftime Show del Super Bowl.”
Bad Bunny primarily sings his songs Spanish, honoring his Puerto Rican heritage, which would be a first for a Super Bowl Halftime Show lead performer.
However, he sings in English in some collaborations, which could come into play when or if guests are added.
The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show telecast will be produced by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers, and Hamish Hamilton serving as director.
Roc Nation also serves as the strategic entertainment advisor of the live performance.

The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show follows the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show starring Kendrick Lamar, the most watched Super Bowl Halftime Show, which averaged 133.5 million viewers across television and digital platforms. It won an Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction.
The Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in 2024 starring Usher garnered three 2024 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Variety Special (Live).
In 2023, the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show starring Rihanna scored five Emmy nominations, taking home two awards, including Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special, a first in Super Bowl Halftime history.
In 2022, Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show Starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar received five Creative Arts Emmy nominations.
