November 19, 2025: Propelled by the objective that “taking care of our mind is just as important as taking care of our physical health,” the Ad Council has launched a multi-media expansion of its "Love, Your Mind" mental health campaign “to encourage people nationwide to prioritize their mental health.”
The PSA effort is driven by a partnership with 17 pro athletes, sports leagues, media companies and brands, including A'ja Wilson, Chloe Kim, Ali Truwit, Francisco Lindor, Karl-Anthony Towns, Russell Wilson, Paige Bueckers, MLB, NFL, NHL, NWSL, MLS, Nascar and USSF. (See full lists below.)
It was developed in collaboration with the Huntsman Mental Health Foundation and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation; and pro bono through a collaboration of three Stagwell agencies: 72andSunny for creative, Assembly Global for media outreach and Hunter for earned media.
The Ad Council said the PSAs introduce the "Love, Your Mind: Celebration," described as a "gesture in which athletes form a heart with their hands and then point to their head — a simple yet meaningful reminder that taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our physical health.”
A dedicted Web site offers tools and resources to show people how to prioritize their mental health in their daily lives.
Via the Ad Council's model, the PSAs — available in English and Spanish — will run nationwide in time and space donated by media outlets across broadcast TV, online video, out-of-home, radio and digital media platforms, including Disney’s ABC and ESPN platforms, Amazon Ads, Kargo, LG Ad Solutions, Pinterest and Teads.
A'ja WilsonA full 60-second spot, “Love, Your Mind Playbook: Celebrations,” will also air in 30- and 15-second versions.
Some of the athletes have stand-alone 15-second spots, including A’ja Wilson, Chloe Kim, Francisco Lindor and Ali Truwit.
In her spot, four-time WNBA MVP Wilson is on a basketball court and offers, “The best is yet to come. Positive self-talk comes from finding positive voices. I block out the rest. Love, you’re mine.” Text reads: “Make a game plan for your mental health.”
We see Paralympic swimmer Truwit in a pool. While swimming, she repeats, “I can and I will. I can and I will.” She then offers, “Mantras are really helpful for me in managing my mental health. The mind is so powerful. Love your mind.”
The athletes, leagues and organizations will also support via online and their social media platforms.
In addition, the "Love, Your Mind" Playbook will appear at marquee sporting events over the next several years.
The initiative's first brand partnership activation was Oct. 12 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where Nascar driver Alex Bowman debuted a custom "Love, Your Mind" paint scheme for the No. 48 Chevrolet, with a matching helmet, sponsored by Ally Financial.
Ali Truwit"The world of sports has tremendous cultural influence – and now, with the 'Love, Your Mind' Playbook, we're opening up new conversations about mental health that are authentic, inspiring and deeply impactful," Lisa Sherman, Ad Council president and CEO, said via the organization.
"We're grateful to partner with some of the most influential athletes, leagues and brands to meet people where they are – on the field, in the stands, and at home – to spark meaningful conversations and drive lasting change."
